Wayne gets another #1 album.

Rapper Lil Wayne has become the first rapper since Tupac Shakur to have a #1 album on the charts, while serving time behind bars, after police found a loaded handgun on his bus in 2007.
The rapper, who is currently finishing an eight-month prison sentence on Riker's Island, has the #1 album in the country with his latest release, I Am Not A Human Being, which has moved over 323,000 copies since its release on September 27th.
According to Billboard, the feat marks the first time a rapper has topped the charts from behind bars, since Tupac Shakur did it in 1995 with the release of his classic album, Me Against the World.

Lil Wayne is scheduled to be released from Riker's Island tomorrow (November 4th). He is planning to release The Carter IV in addition to publishing his memoirs, which he penned while he was incarcerated.

Former President Bush talks Kanye West.

President George W. Bush mentions Kanye West in his forthcoming book, "Decision Points," he's not singing the praises of the Chicago rapper who slammed him on a telethon for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, a week after numerous gulf coast cities were destroyed by the devastating storm and its aftermath.
Bush expressed his frustration with the "Runaway" singer in an interview with the "Today Show"'s Matt Lauer to air Monday on NBC's "Matt Lauer Reports." When Lauer asked Bush if he remembered the comments Kanye made about him, President Obama's predecessor offered a matter-of-fact response.
"Yes, I do. He called me a racist," Bush told Lauer.
"And I didn't appreciate it then. I don't appreciate it now. It's one thing to say, 'I don't appreciate the way he's handled his business.' It's another thing to say, 'This man's a racist.' I resent it, it's not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency."
Lauer quoted an excerpt from the book on the matter:
"I faced a lot of criticism as President. I didn't like hearing people claim that I lied about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction or cut taxes to benefit the rich. But the suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all time low."

Big L's brother talks about L's last days.

Mase and Cam both went onto to find mainstream success. Did L remain close with them after their group Children of the Corn disbanded?
Well, L was the first one out, but his career didn’t take off first. Then Mase got that deal with Puff, he started acting stupid. I had to run Mase off the block because his head got way too big for his body.
What happened with Mase?
Mase is a bitch, a straight bitch. I couldn’t believe some of the shit he was saying on the radio. I have no type of respect for that dude. And I would love to speak to him face to face. He’s fake, man. He ain’t into the religion for real. That dude has always been running. He’s scared. Basically, his head got too big for his damn body. I was the one to run him out of 140th street. He was talking so much shit and talking down to people. He must have forgot who he was around.  Well, one day he started talking crazy when I was right there on the block and told him I was going to punch him in the mouth and of course he ran, called his boys. And then he went over to Lamont and L told me to chill, saying Mase was aight. But I told L he can’t come back to the block, so that’s when Mase started hanging on Lenox.
There were always rumors that L was going to sign with Rocafella. Do you remember Jay-Z and Dame coming around?
Jay and Dame came to get L every weekend. I grew up with Dame and the older heads. Right before he got killed, L was with Jay-Z every single weekend. He was going to sign with them around the same time Lee got knocked. Dame would get Jay and come to scoop L, personally.
Do you think L was sure about signing with Rocafella?
Lamont didn’t want to just sign himself. He wanted Herb Mcgruff and one other dude to sign with him. But Jay just wanted him at the time. See, L was trying to get his mans in with him. He didn’t want to come back for them. But I was telling him to sign with Jay and get you own label popping. He was just such a loyal dude. They were in talks, but they couldn’t agree on L bringing his boys with him. He refused to leave his people behind. I think they would have worked something out, but L’s life got cut short.

New Album drops November 23rd!

Mariah Carey pregnant

Mariah Carey has officially confirmed that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a baby in the spring.
After months of speculation about her pregnancy, the 40-year-old singer spoke with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush about the good news.
“Yes, we are pregnant, this is true!” Mariah shared. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.”
“The greatest gift on earth is a child,” Nick said in the interview. “We’ve had names picked out from the first day we met and we want to stay true to that.”

Trick shut up, you know you still on pills. Cant lie, I'd still wife her up. Nick scored on that.

Indonesia hit by tsunami and volcano eruption.

Indonesian authorities scrambled to deal with two deadly disasters on Tuesday after a tsunami and volcanic eruptions struck in separate regions of the vast Indonesian archipelago.
Sumatra Island was devastated after a powerful earthquake resulting in a tsunami killing at least 113 people and left hundreds missing, including at least eight foreigners, officials said. Thousands more were homeless. The tsunami, triggered by a 7.7-magnitude undersea quake, slammed into the remote Mentawai Islands late Monday, wreaking havoc in villages in the south of the island chain and, the authorities believe, sweeping scores out to sea.
Meanwhile, on the island of Java, to the east, thousands of villagers were fleeing multiple eruptions of Indonesia’s most volatile volcano, Mount Merapi, after it began spewing clouds of hot ash in the early evening Tuesday.

Oh yeah, Jersey Shore, YEAH.

"This past Thursday was the season finale of the loved/hated MTV show, Jersey Shore. The anti-climactic episode was an appropriate farewell to a very meh season.
I dont understand what happened to the once perfectly hilarious in their obliviousness cast of stereotypical guidos/ettes, but it seems as though changing the location of these characters affected their entertainment value as compared to the first season. Perhaps during the casts' break between seasons, when they were able to enjoy their new-found fame and money, and because of their already blown up egos, their dynamic was changed. The Jersey Shore crew seemed to have figured out what their audience wanted to see: Snookie's cluelessness, The Situation's doucheyness, Jwoww adjusting her boobs, etc. but since it was forced, it didn't work as well. Comparing last season to this seasons, I could tell the MTV producers had to edit a lot just to get a storyline for an episode. Even up to the last episode, you could tell the "family" feeling was being forced among the cast. Though they had played it before  ("who wants to take a dump on Sammie's chest most?" LOLZ) the cast "decides" to play another round of the question game, altering it to Most Likely Tos. As it had before, the question game is the perfect recipe for an altercation between someone and anyone for these people. Cue Snookie whispering to Jwoww, who confronts The Situation in a separate room, who tells her something about Pauly D, where he ends up screaming at her to the point of his eyeballs popping out of his head- all over a he said/she said/she nodded situation (pun?) I wish I could more clearly explain the reason behind this battle, but I was kind of lost in their nonsense, and really, reasons don't even matter to these people since with a few creepy words from The Situation to Snookie, the conflict was forgotten and the cast is able to call themselves a "family" once more before heading off their respective hometowns.
Will I tune into the third season? Hell yes I will- and following the casts' lead- no reason necessary."

13 killed in TJ raid.

Thirteen men were killed in a raid at a drug rehabilitation center in Tijuana, Mexican officials said Monday.
Masked gunmen forced residents onto the floor at El Camino a la Recuperacion center and then sprayed them with bullets, officials said. Officials have not announced a motive for the killings, but Mexico is gripped in a bloody war among drug cartels.
A total of 28,228 people have died in Mexico in drug-related war deaths, and Mexican President Felipe Calderon has ordered about 45,000 troops to 18 states where drug trafficking organizations are battling for access to the U.S. market.
Earlier this month in Ciudad Juarez, 14 people were gunned down at a family birthday party. The border city has become the epicenter of Mexico's drug war.

I hate my generation.

I found this pic on the google and havent stopped laughing at it. I highly doubt that people like this picture are a common thing in the real world. But for some reason people in New Jersey have adopted a bill known as "The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights," was introduced by prime sponsors Senator Barbara Buono and Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle. Among the bill's many proposals, it establishes training for school personnel who interact with students coupled with strong accountability provisions.  The bill also provides that a district's anti-bullying policy must include actions that occur off school grounds.

Whatever happened to the good ol days when you could steal the cripple kid's crutches?

Cain Velasquez becomes champ at UFC 121

The undefeated Cain Velasquez tore through Brock Lesnar in a career-defining performance, as he captured the heavyweight championship at UFC 121 on Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The end came 4:12 into round one, as Velasquez reached the mountaintop just nine fights into his professional career.
Velasquez weathered an early attack from the hulking former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar, kept his composure and picked his spots with power, precision and resolve. Lesnar took down the challenger twice in the first two minutes, and Velasquez answered the challenge seamlessly on both occasions. Velasquez scored with his own takedown 2:48 into the first period, took a dominant position in back of the champion and pummeled him with punches and hammerfists. From there, it was all downhill for Lesnar.
Lesnar twice returned to his feet, only to be met with more strikes from the Cain. A two-punch combination dropped the champion near the cage, and Velasquez pounced. Lesnar fought valiantly to defend himself but ate too many punches, forcing Herb Dean to step in on his behalf.

#Shoutout to Cain becoming the first mexican-american mma fighter to become the first champ in the heavyweight champ. This really sets the stage for Cain Velasquez vs Junior Dos Santos. Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir rd 3. And lastly Shane Carwin vs Roy Nelson. The heavyweight division is going to be crazy for a while.

LA Feds let TI slide

Los Angeles prosecutors have declined to file a felony drug charge against T.I. stemming from his arrest last month on the Sunset Strip. According to a charge evaluation worksheet released Monday, deputies found four ecstasy pills on the 30-year-old rapper from Atlanta.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was on supervised release after serving 10 months in prison for federal weapons charges when he was arrested Sept. 1. A Georgia judge earlier this month sentenced him to another 11 months in prison for breaking his federal parole with the latest arrest.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper is expected to begin his prison term on Nov. 1.
